Modern Shogi is a variant of Shogi - japanese board game played by two players [1].
The initial with the 9x9 board, 18 white and 18 black pieces is follows

White:
1) King (K) e2;

5) Horse (H) b2,h2;

Promoted General - Marshal (M) moves one step or jump two steps in any direction;
3) Rook moves vertically or horizontally any distance,
Promoted Rook - Dragon (D) moves as Rook or as General;
4) Bishop moves diagonally any distance or moves without capturing one step vertically or horizontally,
Promoted Bishop - Episcope (E) moves as Bishop or as General;
5) Horse moves (jump over other pieces) two steps vertically or horizontally and one step aside from this direction,
Promoted Horse - Ninja (N) moves as Horse or as General;
6) Pawn moves one step forward.
Promoted Pawn - Pionnier (P) moves as General.

The aim of the game is to capture the opponent's King.
Other rules of this game are identical with rules of classical Shogi [1].

When you are travelling near Egypt's, China's or Mexico’s pyramids you may ask yourself: what game are Gods playing?
Albert Einstein once said: God does not play dice with the universe. Yes! Of course! Because Gods play pyramids!
You can also try it by the new similar to chess game entitled “Pyramids”.
But young people can begin the study of “Pyramids” on the small 7x7 board.

Definition of a pino.
Vertically adjacent checkers (particles) of the one color with different sizes (in oure case of small p1 to large p4) and with the correspondent numbers (labels) form a pyramidal labeled polyomino (simply called "pino") that moves as one hole piece, can be subdivided, and in effect becomes several pinoes. Pino may be expanded by moving additional checkers on free vacances but all checkers of one pino must have different sizes. It is clear that pino has at least one checker.

You can see all possible pieces (pinoes, slaves, faraons) of the game Pyramids on the next diagramm.

Some pieces have the archaic ancestors from Modern Grand Chess [5].

It is possible to reprisent any position by the digital consequences instead of pieces and by Algebraic chess notation. Any digit before point means white checker, after - black.

Rules:

Modes.

1. The orthogonal mode of the movement O or O(n), where n is the number of the path cells.

2. The diagonal mode of the movement D or D(n), where n is the number of the path cells.

3. The first, second ant third neighbor mode of the movement N(n), where n=1,2,3 over the neighbor occupied or unoccupied squares N(x), where x less n (Jump).

The weak variant of Pyramyds have such rules for movement of pieces.
1. A slave (S) moves, without capturing, by N(1) mode and captures by D(1) mode.
A slave may advance in its first move, without capturing, by N(2) mode. The capture «en passant» is absent.
It also promotes for any another (at the player's choice) checker when it reaches the last rank.

The cheskers (chess & checkers) variant of Pyramyds has own rules for movement of pieces.
Each piece at cheskers has two types of a move: simple “marsh” without capturing and “jump” with capturing.
If one player's piece, only one other player's piece, and an empty square are lined up, then the first player may "jump" the other player's piece. In this case, the first player jumps over the other player's piece onto the empty square and takes the other player's piece off the board.
If the piece can jump with the move, it must jump. Sometimes a player may have the option or a choice of which opponent piece he must jump. In such cases, he must then choose which to jump.
1. A slave (S) moves without capturing by N(1) mode and jump by N(2) mode.
It also promotes for any another (at the player's choice) checker when it reaches the last rank.
2. Any pino with checker p1 or a single p2 checker moves and jump by N(2) mode.

Castling doesn't exist (compare with Chaturanga [2]).

When you read the fantastic you think about parallel worlds and about a teleportation. Bermuda chess was invented especially for amateurs of such strange things.
The 3D board of Bermuda chess consists of two complementary 64 squares boards: classical lower (on the left) with the human pieces and quarter- turned upper (on the right) with the alien pieces. It is from other point of view 64x2 complementary squares boards.
The initial (in agree with etiquette centre-symmetrical) position is follows.

Bermuda chess has several additional rules for moves of chess pieces:
1. If a piece from the upper board moves to a square occupied by an opponent’s piece the latter is captured and moved from own square to complementary square on the lower board. If this square is occupied by any piece the latter is captured and removed from the lower board as part of the same move.
2. Any piece from the upper board can move to complementary free square on the lower board or capture an opponent’s piece on it.
3. It is not permitted to move simply a piece from lower board to upper one. But if a piece from the lower board moves to a square occupied by an opponent’s piece the latter (souteneur) is captured and removed from the lower board. The attacking piece (protégé) continues the move to the complementary square on the upper board as part of the same move but if this square is occupied already by other piece the attacking piece is remaind on the lower board.
4. The king’s rule is entered instead the checkmate: pieces have right to move only when a king of their color is present on the same board. One black and one white kings can be captured without ending the game.

Hello chess players! I continue to go with the chess evolution and had gone to the new chess variant titled “Modern Grand Chess”.
Let me introduce the new chess variant unoccupied still by Artificial Intelligence.
The game was developed as an alternative to Omega Chess [4], Grand Chess [5], Archchess [6], Pacific Chess [7] and Mideast Chess [8]. This 100-squares chess variant has wide strategic and tactical possibilities but at the same time is using an extended set of the chess pieces with the traditional style of movement well known to all chess players. Pieces are arranged hierarchically and harmonically at the initial position.
The initial (in agree with etiquette centre-symmetrical) position at the game Modern Grand Chess with the 10x10 board is follows.

Here is used partly the design of the classical chess from [2].

I was created an original Cubic design of Modern Grand Chess for all amateurs of Avant-Garde.

It is possible to reprisent the initial position by the piece's letters from Algebraic chess notation (each chess piece is denoted by the first letter of its name).

Hello chess players!
Let me introduce the new very complex 3D game Doseki (道石).
This 729-squares (cells) board game is the acme of perfection for abstract games and has wide strategic and tactical possibilities and at the same time is using a classical set of red (white) and black checkers. In the game Go is used for comparison the 361-squares board. This is approximately only one half.

The 9x9x9 board is actually a 3D cube sliced into 9 equal spaces across each of its three major faces. This sectioning yields a 729-cell playing volume or nine 81-cell layers (planes): A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I.

The initial position of 162 red and 162 black checkers is follows.

The polycube set.

Orthogonally adjacent checkers (originally called cubes) of the one color form a polycube that moves as one hole piece, can be subdivided, and in effect becomes several polycubes. Polycubes may be expanded by moving additional checkers on adjacent squares or connected together by moving a checker or a polycube on a squaress that are adjacent to one or more polycubes of the same color.
Polycubes with from 1 to 8 checkers are called respectively monocube, dicube, tricube, tetracube, pentacube, hexacube, heptacube, octocube.

The promotion.
When the checker with or without the polycube reaches the opposite face (not moves along it), a player is getting right to put into play under own control one additional outside checker. The briliant chess is the simple but very interesting and playable variant of the hexagonal chess [1]. The board is old, the rules of movements are essentially other, better adapted and more adequate for the hexagonal structure in comparison with the traditional variants [3].
At first sight, especially for a grand chessmaster or for the chairman of FIDE, this game verges on madness or is simply a nonsense, but this is only on the face of it. Try to play and you will understand that such opinion is the greatest mistake in your life. So to say by Limerick:

Heavens are raining,
Pope is praying,
peoples are playing,
the game is gaining,
I am true saying!

Hello players! I had experimented with the polycubes (solid polyominoes) [1] and had went by this way to the new game titled “Nomino” more perfect then "Omino" studied before.
This 100-squares board game has wide strategic and tactical possibilities and at the same time is using a classical set of 20 red (white) and 20 black checkers.
The initial position at the game Nomino with the standard 10x10 board is follows.

The nomino set.

Vertically or horizontally adjacent checkers (originally called squares) of the one color with the number or with the label form a labeled polyomino (simply called a nomino) that moves as one hole piece, can be subdivided, and in effect becomes several nominos. It is clear that the labeled polyomino is the subclass of the polycube. Nominoes may be expanded by moving additional checkers on adjacent squares, or upon another checkers or connected together by moving a checker or a nomino on a squaress that are adjacent to one or more nominoes of the same color.
Nominoes with from 1 to 8 checkers are called respectively monocube, dicube, tricube, tetracube, pentacube, hexacube, heptacube, octocube.

Hello players! I had studied a mathematics but had thought instead about games and had invented in such a way the new game titled “Omino” as an alternative to Draughts [1], Chess [2], Shogi [3], Go [4], Blokus [5] and Gess [6].
This 100-squares board game has wide strategic and tactical possibilities and at the same time is using a classical set of 20 white and 20 black checkers.
The initial position at the game Omino with the 10x10 board is follows.

Rules.

The promotion is absent.

Let me introduce the new 4D chess variant Nihongi (日本棋). The game was developed as an playable 3x3x3x3 alternative to Chesseract, invented in 1999 by Jim Aikin and played on a 4x4x4x4 board [1]. This 81-cell chess variant has properties of the real puzzle but at the same time is using exclusively the classical reduced to 30 pieces chess set [2] well known to all chess players.

The 4D board is actually a 3x3x3x3 tesseract (four-dimensional hypercube) sliced into equal spaces across each of its four major faces and well known at Japan for the puzzle Sudoku [5] and for the traditional Japanese chess Shogi [6].

Here is used partly the design of the classical chess from [4].

White:

Let me introduce the new 3D chess variant. The game was developed as an simple 4x4x4 alternative to Raumschach (German for "Space chess"), invented in 1907 by Ferdinand Maack and played on a 5x5x5 board [1]. This 64-cell chess variant has properties of the real puzzle but at the same time is using exclusively the classical 32 piece chess set [2] well known to all chess players.

The 4x4x4 board is actually a 3D cube sliced into 4 equal spaces across each of its three major faces. This sectioning yields a 64-cell playing volume or four 16-cell layers (planes):
First (a-d 1-4),
Second (e-h 1-4),
Third (a-d 5-8),
Fourth (e-h 5-8).

The initial position of the symmetrical variant is follows.

Here is used partly the design of the classical chess from [4].

Let me introduce the new chess variant unoccupied still by Artificial Intelligence.
The game was developed as an alternative to Omega Chess [4], Grand Chess [5], Archchess [6], Pacific Chess [7] and Mideast Chess [8]. This 100-squares chess variant has wide strategic and tactical possibilities but at the same time is using an extended set of the chess pieces with the traditional style of movement well known to all chess players. Pieces are arranged hierarchically and harmonically at the initial position.

This 100-cell chess variant has wide strategic and tactical possibilities but at the same time is using an extended set of the only traditional chess pieces well known to all chess players and arranged hierarchical distributed and harmonically at the initial position.
Let me introduce the new chess variation titled Chess and unoccupied still by Artificial Intelligence.
The initial (in agree with etiquette centre-symmetrical) position at the game Chess also with the 10x10 board is follows (see also picture above).

The game Chess has the transformed castles (three moves at once) similar to classical 64-cell chess:

short castle for white R b1-d1, R a1-c1, K e1-b1

and for black R i10-g10, R k10-h10, K f10-i10;

long castle for white R i1-f1, R k1-g1, K e1-h1

and for black R b10-e10, R a10-d10, K f10-c10.
This nuance is a principal advantage of the 100-cell game Chess over analogies. (The castle at chess is a canonical idea from the theory of bifurcations.)

Other rules of game Chess is identical with rules of classical chess [1].

Русские шашматы представляют собой гибридный вариант классических шахмат и русских шашек, альтернативу шашматам Гайнриха Рихтера [1] и Соломона Голомба [2].
Игра очень агрессивна, комбинационна и непредсказуема.

Фигуры

По правилам комплект фигур разбит поровну на белые и черные. Игрокам присваиваются условные названия "Белые" и "Черные". Каждый игрок начинает игру с шестнадцатью фигурами указанного цвета. Они включают одного короля, одного ферзя, две ладьи, два слона, два коня и восемь пешек.

Начальная позиция

Русские шашматы играются на квадратной доске, идентичной шахматной, разбитой на клетки из восьми рядов (пронумерованные от 1 до 8) и в восьми столбцов (названных первыми буквами латинского алфавита от “a” до “h”).

Фигуры расставляются как в шахматах, но симметрично: король слева, ферзь справа, для обоих игроков.

Белые:

Слоны c1, f1;
Кони b1, g1;

Как ходить

Различные фигуры в игре Русские шашматах ходят по своему двумя способами: простой "марш" и "бой" (прыжок).

1. Пешка может ходить вперёд (прямо и по диагонали) на соседнюю клетку, король - в любом направлении на соседнюю клетку, конь – в любом направлении на первую или вторую клетку.

2. Если фигура одного игрока, фигура другого игрока, и свободная клетка выстроены в линию, то первый игрок может "перепрыгнуть" фигуру другого игрока. В этом случае, первый игрок, перепрыгнув через фигуру другого игрока на пустой квадрат, снимает её с доски (бьёт её).

3. Если игрок может своим ходом перепрыгнуть (побить) фигуру противника, он должен бить. Иногда у игрока появляются несколько различных вариантов перепрыгнуть фигуры противника. В таких случаях, он должен выбрать, какую фигуру перепрыгнуть.

4. Король, конь и пешка могут прыгнуть только на вторую клетку.

5. Ферзь, ладья, слон могут ходить на произвольное число клеток (ферзь в любом направлении, ладья горизонтально и вертикально, слон по диагонали), перепрыгивать и, следовательно, брать фигуру противника на любом расстоянии и выбрать, где после этого остановиться.

6. Игрок может использовать одного ферзя, или одну ладью, или одного слона, или одного коня, чтобы за один ход перепрыгнуть (побить) несколько фигур соперника, если каждый прыжок продолжается непосредственно в следующий прыжок.

7. Король может перепрыгнуть на вторую свободную клетку через собственную фигуру без её удаления, но только один раз за один ход.

8. Когда пешка доходит до последней горизонтали (для белых — до восьмой горизонтали, для чёрных — до первой), она превращается в ферзя того же цвета (прохождение пешки в ферзи).

Окончание игры

Игрок побеждает, когда он бьёт (перепрыгивает и убирает с доски) короля противника. Любой игрок может также сдаться.
Игра оканчивается в ничью в следующих ситуациях: ничья по соглашению, тройное повторение позиции, правило пятидесяти ходов без взятия или ничьи вследствие невозможности взять короля противника.

Russian cheskers is the hybrid variant of classical chess and Russians checkers, the alternative to schachdame of Heinrich Richter [1] and cheskers of Solomon Golomb [2].
This is a very aggressive, combinatorial and unpredictable game.

Pieces

The pieces are divided, by convention, into white and black sets. The players are referred to as "White" and "Black”. Each begins the game with sixteen pieces of the specified colour. These consist of one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights and eight pawns.

Initial position

Russian cheskers is played on a square board, identical to chess one, of eight rows (called ranks and denoted with numbers 1 to 8) and eight columns (called files and denoted with letters “a” to “h”) of squares.

The pieces are set out as in the chess but symmetrically: the king - left, the queen - right, for each colour.

White:

How to move

Each piece at Russian cheskers has its own style of moving in two ways: simple “marsh” and “jump”.

1. The pawn can be moved forward (direct and diagonally) to the very next square, the king can be moved in any direction to the very next square, the knight can be moved in any direction to the first or second square.

2. If one player's piece, the other player's piece, and an empty square are lined up, then the first player may "jump" the other player's piece. In this case, the first player jumps over the other player's piece onto the empty square and takes the other player's piece off the board.

3. If the piece can jump with the move, it must jump. Sometimes a player may have the option or a choice of which opponent piece he must jump. In such cases, he must then choose which to jump.

4. The king, the knight and the pawn can be jumped only to the second square.

5. The queen, the rook, the bishop have the ability to move freely multiple steps (the queen in any direction, the rook horizontally and vertically, the bishop diagonally) and jump over and hence capture an opponent piece some distance away and choose where to stop afterwards.

6. A player can use one queen, or one rook, or one bishop, or one knight to make multiple jumps in any one single turn, provided each jump continues to lead immediately into the next jump.

7. The king can be jumped once per one move over own piece to the second square without the removing this own piece.

8. When a pawn advances to its last rank (eighth for white, first for black), it is exchanged for a queen of the same colour (Promotion).

End of the game

A player wins when he takes the opponent king off the board. Either player can also resign.
A draw can occur in several situations, including draw by agreement, threefold repetition of a position, the fifty-move rule, or a draw by impossibility to take the opponent king.
